Access and Equity Survey March 2010
This brief survey looks at access and equity in relation to commonwealth government services. Access and equity can be defined as "the right of all Australians to equality of treatment and opportunity and the removal of barriers of race, ethnicity, culture, religion, language, gender or place birth and the need for all government agencies to work together to overcome these barriers" (National Agenda for a Multicultural Australia, 1989).
