FECCA Congress 2007, Hobart, 30-31 July 2007
 
The very successful 2007 FECCA Congress was held at the Wrest Point resort in Hobart, Tasmania on July 30 & 31 this year.  The theme revolved around the concepts of empowerment and inclusion, which were explored through primary addresses, panel discussions, workshops and presentations.

World Game Story Wins Journalism Award, SBS Offices, Artamon, 30 May 2007
 
FECCA, together with SBS, congratulate the winner of the 2006 Student Journalism Award, Victor Pisani.  Victor was awarded $1,000 from FECCA and a 6-week internship with SBS at a ceremony
at the SBS Artamon Offices today.  Georgina Wiles and Amalia Ridwan also received prizes,

71st meeting of the FECCA Executive, Canberra, 21-22 April 2007
 
At this meeting, the FECCA Executive conducted roundtable discussions on issues of concern to FECCA's constituents with a number of Federal politicians including Senator Kate Lundy, Shadow Minister for Sport, Recreation, Health Promotion and Local Government, Senator Gary Humphries, Senator for the ACT, and Laurie Ferguson MP, Shadow Minister for Multicultural Affairs, Urban Development and Consumer Affairs.
